Giro Day Eight: Hitting the Corner

One of the methods of measuring how well your time trial is going is the intermediary time checks, once or twice along the route the times of each rider are posted in descending order.  With today's stage it was very important not to go out too hard because the route ended with a climb towards the finish line.  This is Ryder Hesjedal coming through the corner that was the only time check for this course.  The pink arch behind the cyclist marks the line where time was taken.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard (4"x6") and can be yours by visiting my artist website.  Just follow the direct link at the end of this post.
