Giro Day Eleven: Staying Upright

As I have said, descending is a high risk task done at high speed.  This is Jackson Rodriquez desperately trying to hold onto the edge of the road and not crash into the fence along the side of the field.  The next cyclist through this curve, Franco Pelliozotti, wasn't so lucky.  He ended up on his side in the grass, unhurt, but losing time.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard and like all of the works in this series, it was created with cake watercolors, brushes and paper from www.richesonart.com   In addition, these works, including this one, are available for purchase through my artist website, just follow the direct links at the end of each post.
