Giro Day Thirteen: Caution

The race marshals do their best to keep the riders safe and to warn them of coming dangers along the way.  Here the need for the orange flag was unclear and it seemed that the referee wanted the riders to slow down.  The Omega rider on the front had a very different opinion of the road and after a heated discussion of gestures sent the motorcycle out of the way and up the road.  I never did see what he was trying to caution them about.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard and is available for sale on my artist website.   Just follow the direct link at the end of this post.
