After losing so much time when Valverde flatted and Quintana able to climb like a mountain goat, Moviestar went to the front of the peloton to dictate the pace. They may have been hoping to repeat the second Pyrenees stage and put Team Sky on the back foot. Sky was more than happy to be relieved of the burden of setting the pace, they just tucked in behind, but the yellow jersey in the rocking chair and let Moviestar do the work. You can tell how hard they are working by just how long the peloton has stretched out, the end of the group is out of sight.
