Tour Stage Three: Twisting Stones

The Tour de France always provides amazing scenery and the first visit to Corsica raise the bar considerably.  The western coast contains some amazing pink limestone formations that take their shape from the winds and salt air of the Mediterranean Sea erode these cliffs in beautiful spirals that are complimented by the twisting narrow roads along the coves and bays of the coastline.  This is the five man break that got away from the very first kilometer of the stage.  It was Westra for Vacansoleil that started the break.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that is available through my artist website.  Just follow the direct link at the end of this post to get you special piece of the 100th Tour de France.
