Stage 3 of the Ruta del Sol, was lead out by a large break away. With the nine man group trying to slip away, the peloton was in no mood to give them more than a two minute leash. As they crested one of the earlier climbs on the stage they squeezed through the narrow streets of Agron. Tucked onto the back of the group are Alessandro Bazzana (United Healthcare), Jeremy Roy (FDJ), and Miquel Angel Rubiano (Colombia).
