Giro Stage 6: A Little Refreshment

It is imperative that the riders keep their fluids top up.  It is difficult to avoid cramps, bonking, and a gradual demise of performance, so getting enough to drink is essential.  If they can't get to their team cars or a soigneur, there is always the neutral service vehicle.  This one can be viewed as a drinks cart, although a drinks motorcycle would be more accurate.  Most of the Lotto Soudal team was on the front of the peloton working for their sprinter, Andre Greipel.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson & Company.  You can find all of their wonderful art supplies at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  All of the cycling art sells for only $50 USD and international shipping is available.
