Tour de France, Stage 13: Warning Those Behind

Just like the club rides I do most every week, those on the front of the peloton will point out obstacles and dangers to those behind in hopes of avoiding crashes.  When drafting, riders will be so close to the wheel in front that they often don't see the dangers until it is too late, so those on front will use hand signals to warn those that can't see them for themselves.  While the Giant Alpecin is warning his own teammate, who nearly overcooks it in the corner, riders warn behind regardless of what team is drafting off of his wheel.  I am happy to say that everyone made it safely through this corner and charged on to the intermediate sprint.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  In addition, this painting is available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting for only $60 USD, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Remember it is an original painting so when it is gone, it is gone.  I would advise against delaying if you see one you want.  International shipping is available.
