Tour de France, Stage 18: Watching Them All

Chris Froome (Team Sky) after scaling the Lacets de Montvernier dropped to the back of the small group so he could keep an eye on all of those who would challenge the Maillot Jaune.  With the comfortableness of his lead, he may even have had time to gaze down the valley towards the monsters of the Alps.  Just in front of the Sky leader was Alberto Contador (Tinkoff Saxo) the two men of Movistar who are second and third on the GC, Alejandro Valverde and Nairo Quintana.  Rounding out the group was Vincenzo Nibali (Astana) sporting the tricolore of the Italian National Champion.  Froome as had the measure of them all yet again today.  They all seem to be running out of Alpine roads to challenge his firm grip on the Yellow Jersey.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson & Co., www.richesonart.com.  They are a small US based family run art supply company that has really wonderful products for art making.  This painting, and all of my cycling art, is available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting for only $60 USD, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Be aware that because it is an original one of a kind work, once it has sold it is gone. So, don't delay.
