Tour de France Stage 9: Fighting All of the Way Home

Tinkoff Saxo has the unusual dilemma of having to different jerseys to ride for, well, technically four.  Peter Sagan is currently holding both the Maillot Blanc of best young rider and the Maillot Vert of the most consistent sprinter.  However, the team was built around Alberto Contador winning his third consecutive Grand Tour (he won the Veulta at the end of last year and the Giro earlier this year).  Sagan started the day just 13 seconds behind the over all race leader, Chris Froome (Sky), so the team had hopes of winning Yellow for Sagan and moving Contador up in the GC ahead of the mountain stages later in the week.  A side note, no rider can wear two jersey at the same time, so they will wear the more important of the two, thus Sagan road the time trial in the Green Jersey.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson and Company, www.richesonart.com.  In addition this painting is available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting for only $60 USD, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Don't delay, this is an original work of art, so when it is gone, it is gone.
