Rio Olympics: Looking It Over

With the peloton now on the final climb of the day, it was time for the big names to hit the front of the race.  As the women went up, it was the former World Champion, Pauline Ferrand Pevot (France) who raised the pace of the climb.  On her wheel is the reigning Olympic Champion, Marianne Vos (Netherlands).  Joining the powerhouse names are Gracie Elvin (Australia), M. Jasinka (Poland), A Vekemans (Belgium) and Trixi Worrack (Germany).

This is a small watercolors and ink painting measuring just 4"x6" and was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from  This painting and all of my Olympics artwork will be available through my artist website at  To purchase this particular painting just follow the direct link at the end of this post.
