Doha 2016, Jr. Men's ITT: Leaving Something in the Tank

Ian Garrison (USA) may have felt that he left something in the tank as he crossed the line on The Pearl in Doha.  Garrison had gone through the first time check almost 30 seconds down on the current race leader.  When he came to the line, he finished in second place just 7 seconds down.  He had gained almost 27 seconds on the second lap, leaving him to wonder if he should have ridden harder at the beginning.  His ride was enough to keep him on the podium and garner him a bronze medal on the day.

This is a small watercolors and ink painting measuring just 4"x6" and was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  This painting and all of my Olympics artwork will be available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  It is only $75 USD and international shipping is available.
