Bergen 2017, Elite Women's Road Race: Driving It All Day

While one of Team USA's contenders, Megan Garnier, crashed out about half way through the race, the team was still on the front driving the pace and chasing breaks all day long.  Most of the work was being done by Lauren Stephens in hopes that the American sprinter, Coryn Rivera would be able to outsprint the peloton at the end.  The other active teams in the peloton were Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Australia, all visible just behind Stephens, waiting to chase anything that moves.

This is a small watercolors and ink painting measuring just 4"x6" and was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  This painting and all of my Olympics artwork will be available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  It is only $75 USD and international shipping is available.
