Tour, Stage 11: On the Offensive

Movistar had gotten fed up with the pace being set by Michal Kwiatkowski (Sky) and the rest of the Sky boys.  As they were starting up the slopes of the Col du Pre, two riders from the Spanish team, Andrey Amador and Mikel Landa, rode on the front.  True to form Sky didn't react.  As they pulled back the Movistar duo, Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) went on the counter attack.  The Spaniard quickly opened up a gap on the peloton.  Just behind Team Sky, you can see the Maillot Jaune of Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) still hanging tough.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
