Tour Stage 2: Using Some of His Luck

This is the new hero of the Tour, Lawson Craddock (EF Education First).  The Texan crashed off camera yesterday breaking his scapula and getting a bad gash above his left eye.  He was able to finish that stage, and hang with the peloton today, despite yoyo-ing off the back ever time the peloton applied some pressure.  His first two Tour stages of his life prove just how hard this race can be, and just how tough the men are who race it.  Hopefully, he will be able to recover in the coming days, and ride all of the way to Paris.

This is the piece from Stage 2 that I filmed being painted.  You can watch this painting come to life on my You Tube channel (or watch it here).  Be sure to suscribe to catch a painting from every stage, every day.  Please feel free to share the video on your social media.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
