Tour, Stage 14: The Leader on the Road

Behind the break away  all of the contenders of the Tour were busy eyeing each other.  That left the stage as a possiblity for the break away even if the finale was up the Tourmalet.  Romain Siccard (Total Direct Energie) was the next to try and escape his break away companions and vie for stage honors.  With the heat climbing back up the scale in the valley, it was important to keep hydrated.  Along with soigneurs and his team car, Siccard good avail himself of the support moto filled with cold water bottles.  I did find it a little weird that the driver was using his left hand to pass the bottle to a rider on his right.  It may be a motorcycle thing that I am just not aware of.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
