Tour, Stage 17: All Alone

Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-Scott) came to the line in Gap alone.  His gamble to go a little early paid off in a big way.  He finished over thirty seconds ahead of the next rider to cross the line.  It was another twenty minutes before the peloton containing the Maillot Jaune and the rest of the general classification riders crossed the finish line.  Not much changed in the grander picture of the Tour, but for Trentin it was a brilliant day giving him his second Tour stage win in four years.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
