Tour, Stage 5: What He Does Best

Peter Sagan (Bora Hansgrohe) is the master of the sprint to the line.  That is the reason he is wearing the Maillo Vert of the most consistant sprinter.  He has amassed a hugh lead in the Green Jersey competition but today was his first stage victory.  He had used the tough climbs to ride himself of the more traditional sprinters (who to a man don't climb well), leaving him a less rivals at the finale in Colmar.  The next closest to the Slovakian was Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) in the Maillot Blanc of best young rider adding to his lead in that competition, but he also gained some bonus seconds to secure his second place overall.  Rounding out the top three was the European Champion, Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-Scott).  Michael Matthews (Sunweb) faded to seventh in the sprint to the line.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
