Yorkshire 2019 - Jr Women's ITT: Sprinting for Time

Leonie Bos (Netherlands) got up out of the saddle to sprint up the final climb of the nearly 14 kilometer course.  She had been laying good time splits around the course but wanted to get to the line as quickly as possible.  She did managed to register the fasted time when she finished.  Once everyone had finished the race she had dropped to sixth place.  When I painted the Richmond 2015 Worlds, I had the chance to meet the entire Dutch Junior Women's team (they are now too old to race at this event).  Not only were they so strong, they were still fairly typical teenage girls.  Bos and the rest of her team certainly showed they were much the same.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
