Today has been dubbed the Queen Stage, the next to last stage of this year's Paris Nice. And it was a doosey of a stage, too. The peloton faced three category 1 climbs and a category 2 along the way, the third category one summit was the end of the stage atop the Col de la Couillole. On the penultimate climb of the day, Jakob Fulgsang (Astana) decided he would have a stretch of his legs and see just how much of a gab he could open up on the following peloton. Too many in the group behind knew of Fulgsang's strength, so there was no letting the Dane go.
