Dauphine, Stage 2: And then There Were Two

Using a small climb before the final two cotes of the day, Lukas Postlberger (Bora-Hansgrohe) got the jump on his erstwhile break away companions.  The long haired Shane Archbold (Deceuninck-Quick Step) was the only one of the others with the legs to go with the Austrian.  The two build up a two minute and forty nine second gap on the following peloton with just 23.5 kilometers to the finish in Saugues.  It was a doable thing, yet I can't imagine the peloton getting it wrong two days in a row.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above.  Since ti is an original work of art, it is a first come first seved reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburth watercolors from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 USD plus shipping, and yes international shipping is available.
