Paris Roubaix: In Search of Pave

Having come off the first set of cobblestones a few seconds behind the front group, this trio of Tom Van Asbroeck (Israel Start Up Nation), Andre Carvalho (Cofidis) and Tosh Van Der Sande (Lotto Soudal) were just about to tag back onto the group that have dropped them on Sector 30.  They may have been less than thrilled to realize that they were catching on just as the approached the Cappalle a Reusnes section (#24).  With 130 kilometers to race, this was going to be the order, the accordion that is Paris Roubaix.  Some riders can open a gap on the cobbles, and others have to chase back on the smooth tarmac between each section as they wind there way through the north of France.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 USD plus shipping, and yes international shipping is available.
