Neilson Powless (USA) was the first of the two Americans to compete in the Elite Men's Time Trial. Powless got off to a good start but, alas, it wasn't to be his day. Both he and I will have to wait until the weekend to have another go for the rainbow bands. Unless he is in the mixed team time trial in the middle of the week.
