Tour '24, Stage 4: Sprinting for Green

Today was going to be a hard mountain stage so the Intermediate Sprint came rather early in the stage.  Nevertheless, it was still a climb to get there, in fact the first 50 kilometers of the day was all uphill.  Without a break away up the road, it was time to sprint for maximum points in the search for the Maillot Vert of the most consistent sprinter in the Tour.  The sprint in Castel del Basco went to Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) with the stage winner from yesterday, Biniam Girmay (Intermache-Wanty) close on his wheel.  While they took the most points available, it still wasn't enough to take the jersey off of the shoulders of Jonas Abrahamsen.  But they did move up to second and third in the competition.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The work sells for $95 USD including shipping, but, yes, international shipping is both available and extra.
