After the long successful breakaway in Stage One, the peloton was in no mood to make the same mistake twice so this break never got more than 3 minutes up the road. Thomas Damuseau, in the Polka Dot Mountain Jersey, was in the winning move yesterday, although he crossed the line with the main group. His efforts were enough to let him be the wearer of the jersey for today's stage. Veilleux won all but the young rider White Jersey, and he only missed that one by a few days, having just turned 24 years old. This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that was created using cake watercolors, brushes and paper all from www.richesonart.com. All of the works of the Dauphine are available for purchase at my artist website, including this one. Just follow the direct link at the end of this post.
