Team Movistar had decided that the break was just too far ahead. The Spanish team decided to rev up the pace on the Pul Marie. Their efforts generated both a quick reduction in the gap up to Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) and company, and the high pace started to catch out some of those who were a threat to their team leader, Nairo Quintana. Following on their wheels were Team Sky and Astana working for Chris Froome and Fabio Aru respectively.
This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson & Company.
