Olympics 2018: Historic Gold

Ester Ledecka (Czech Republic) did something that has never been done in the Olympics before.  She won a Gold Medal earlier in the Women's Super G (a skiing event) and today took Gold in the Women's Parallel Giant Slalom in snowboarding.  No Olympic athlete has won Gold medals in two different sports in a single Olympic games until Ledecka did it today.

Olympics 2018: Quite a Transition

Wow!  Ester Ledecka (Czech Republic) is the first Olympian, male or female, to take medals in both snowboarding and alpine skiing in the same olympic games.  After medaling in the Women's Snowboard Slalom, she came out today to claim Gold in the Women's Super G.
