Giro, Stage 10: Every Second

Two interpretations of this title here.  First riders must be aware every second of the stage because one's race can change in an instant.  As the peloton approached the second intermediate sprint (where bonus seconds are awarded to the first three riders across the line), Groupama-FDJ hit the front to lead out their man Thibaut Pinot.  As they neared the line, Sebastien Riechenbach (Groupama-FDJ) rolled off the front to let his man take maximum points.  However, Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) wasn't having any of it.  With the advantage of a rise to the line, Yates managed to out sprint the Frenchman and add another second to his over all lead.  Thibaut was extra motivated since a group far behind contained Esteban Chaves (Mitchelton-Scott) who had started the day in second place on the General Classification.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
