Paris Nice 2022: Losing Touch

I always feel bad painting riders slipping off the back of the peloton, seemingly having the race go away from them.  With 32 kilometers left in the stage, Ethan Hayter (Ineos-Grenadiers) was struggling to hold onto the stretching tail of the peloton.  Just ahead, Stefan De Bod (Astana Qazaqstan) wasn't fairing much better.  I did feel better (spoiler alert), when Hayter managed to finish the stage inside of the top ten.  All the more impressive since it was a mass sprint up a two kilometer rise to the line.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 USD plus shipping, and yes international shipping is available.
