The title comes from the fact that two out of these three riders have been in at least one of the previous break aways in Paris Nice. The odd man out was Owain Doull (EF Education-EasyPost). Conversely, Alexis Gougeard (B&B Hotels-KTM) has made it into a break three times out of three stages. Thomas De Gendt (Lotto Soudal) has done it yesterday and today. One thing is for sure, none of them will be in a break tomorrow since it is a day of racing against the clock in the individual time trial.
