The title of this painting says it all. I don't think I have ever seen such a steep section of road way. These two riders are what remains of the original break away on the day, the others just couldn't hang with these two on this climb. This is Adam Hansen for Team Lotto and Emanuele Selle riding for Androni Giocattoli - Venezuela continuing on with the hope against hope of staying away from the peleton.
