Giro Final Day: Pretty in Pink

Yet another final day tradition, while the peloton is meandering along, the leader's jersey will visit each of the team cars shaking hands and receiving their congratulations.  The final stage is not about racing until after the first lap of the finishing circuit.  Then look out, every sprinter only has one last chance to win a stage, and in the case of the Tour de France it is always on the most famous avenue in Paris.  The Giro changes its finishing city like it changes it finishing towns with every stage, but that makes the victory no less important.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that can be yours by visiting my artist website.  Just follow the direct link at the end of this post.
