Tour, Stage 21: Salute!

The senior manager of Team Ineos, Sir Dave Brailsford, leans out of the team car to toast his Maillot Jaune, Egan Bernal.  One tradition of the Tour is the winner's team will toast with champagne as they ride towards Paris on the final stage.  Starting with Lance Armstrong and US Postal team, the team of the Maillot Jaune will trick out their kit with pops of yellow.  Starting with Team Sky (now Ineos) adds a yellow strip to the team car and have added yellow on there racing kit as well.  The only tell of his age (22 years) was watching Bernal actually down his full glass of champagne.  Fortunately for him, the other traditon is not to attack the yellow jersey on the final stage of the Tour.  It is highly unlikely that anyone could gain time on such a flat stage anyway, but this stage is for the sprinters.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available though my website at www.greigleach.com, or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Since it is an original it is first come first served.  The painting was created using Yarka St Petersburg watercolors from Richesonart.com. The work sells for $75 plus shipping. And yes, international shipping is available.
