Julius Johansen (Denmark) had a great run, setting best times all along the course. However, it seems he may have gone too deep to early as he faded in the final lap of the course around The Pearl. Johansen finished in the arguably toughest place on the general classification, fourth place. His near miss made it look like the Americans had a chance to put to men on the podium for the second year running. The question remains, which steps of the podium will they occupy?
