Today was the women's turn to take on the Olympic Road Racing Course, although they will be riding roughly 85 miles rather than the 150 miles yesterday by the men. The course is the same just a few less laps on the two circuits. Emma Pooley (GB) hit the front on the first climb of the day. On her wheel is the Dutch woman Ellen Van Dijk. Other teams represented are Italy, Germany, Poland and South Africa.
This is a small watercolors and ink painting measuring just 4"x6" and was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com. This painting and all of my Olympics artwork will be available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.
