After yesterday's incredible hard day, the entire peloton had to be thrilled to have the Alps behind them (or at least off to their right). While today is ear-marked as a day for the sprinters that didn't stop this trio from going off the front from the very first kilometer of the stage. Jonas Abrahamsen (Uno-X), Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Dstny), and Kasper Asgreen (Soudal-Quick Step) had to know this was going to be a long effort that would most likely end in tired legs and not much else to show for the effort. Still, as Jens Voigt would say if you are in the break you may have only a one percent chance of succeeding, but if you aren't there, you will have a zero percent chance of success. I am paraphrasing is rather terse way of getting his point across.
This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $95 USD including shipping, but yes international shipping is both available and extra.
