Tour de France Femmes 23, Stage 4: Mounting Her Own Defense

Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime) dropped everyone on the descent of the Cote de Moyrazes.  She was hoping to bridge up to the leaders to defend her Maillot Jaune.  She certainly didn't seem very willing to let it go just yet.  With eighteen kilometers to the finish of the stage, she had built a forty-five second lead on her erstwhile companions but was still just over three minutes behind the leader out on course.  She would need to get to just over two and a half minutes behind her to keep that yellow jersey on her shoulders.  It does make me question her claim that she is riding for her team leader.  After all, Demi Vollering is nowhere to be seen.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $95 USD including shipping, but yes international shipping is both available and extra.
