Tour '25, Stage 12: The Broom Wagon Lurks

As Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) road through the sprint point in Benejacq he had hoped to be sprinting for maximum points with the other sprinters in the early break.  Instead, he was riding alone behind the peloton with on the Voiture Balai to keep him company.  I am not sure exactly what happened, but he had pulled off the side of the road while in the break to seek medical help.  Since the doctor's car was behind the peloton, he was assisted by the medical moto, but couldn't be treated while rolling along as we have seen happening earlier.  Once his fingers had been taped together, he got back on the bike and rolled on.  I'm guessing he dislocated a finger grabbing his musette in the feed zone.  I did see him asking the medic to pull on his fingers.  And no, he didn't fart when they did.  I will tell you that he finished the stage inside of the time limit, just over forty-four minutes after the eventual stage winner.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The work sells for $99 USD including shipping, but, yes, international shipping is both available and extra.
