Tour '25, Stage 18: Quite the Reversal

Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) had been dropped on the climb of the Col du Madeleine, but had chased hard down the other side of the climb.  Almost the second he rejoined the leaders he went off on his own.  He was hoping to catch the other two guys who were a minute up the road, but he had dropped the group of the Maillot Juane by roughly two and a half minutes.  He still has a long way to climb to the summit finish atop the Col de la Loze, but he has definitely recovered from his earlier troubles.

He did eventually lose contact with the leaders as they chased him down.  He did manage to hold onto his Maillot Blanc by a scant twenty-one seconds when today's stage was done.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The work sells for $99 USD including shipping, but, yes, international shipping is both available and extra.
