Tour '25, Stage 16: Eyes Down

This title comes from the expression 'eyes down' meaning it is time to get to work.  I was playing with the idea that the helicopter above had its eyes (and therefore ours) on the move off the front from Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor Pro Cycling).  He had been in a very large break of thirty-one guys and clearly didn't want to go to the base of the final climb with such a big bunch.  Behind him, Pascal Eenkhoorn (Soudal-Quick Step) was looking to see if he was going to get any help chasing down the fleeing Frenchman.  The French have yet to win a stage of this Tour.  I believe Alaphilippe was intent on changing that reality.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The work sells for $99 USD including shipping, but, yes, international shipping is both available and extra.
