Giro Stage 8: Losing Ground

Tom Danielson (Cannondale-Garmin) and Sebastien Reichenbach (IAM Cycling) are tucked onto the back of the remainder of the break away as they slide under the fifteen kilometers to go banner.  This group has been steadily losing seconds to the trio up the road, conversely, they are adding to the seconds that separate them from the peloton containing the Magila Rosa.  With just 15 K left to race, their wasn't much time to catch the escapees, but the final thirteen kilometers will be a steep assent to the finishing line.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson and Company, www.richesonart.com.  They are a lovely small family run art supply company that has some of my favorite media.  The painting is also available for purchase through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  But don't delay, these are original one of a kind paintings and when it is gone, it is gone.
