Giro Stage 10: Who Is Going to Chase Him?

Alan Marangoni (Cannondale Garmin) was the first to launch an attack once Oscar Gatto (Androni Giocattoli) was gone due to a mechanical.  Without the strong finisher amongst the escapees, the foursome had a resurgence of energy believing that they had at least a 25% chance of their first Giro d'Italia stage victory.  Marangoni was fortunate that Nicola Boem (Bardiani CSF) looked to his compatriots to take up the chase, just as he had been urging them all to work together.  Alessandro Malaguti (Nippo-Vini Fantini) and Matteo Busato (Southeast Pro Cycling) finally decided that a chance at winning was better than a 2 out of 3 chance of just being on the podium.

This is a small original watercolor and ink painting that was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolor and Steve Quiller brushes from Jack Richeson & Company, www.richesonart.com.  They are a small family run art supply business that has an incredible area of fine art and craft products.  The painting is available for purchase through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting, just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Remember this is an original work of art, not a print, so don't delay, when it is gone, it is gone.
