Ryder Hesjedal and the AG2R rider are just catching back onto the back of the peloton, Ryder reaches out to give him a little push to get him into the group (and so he can tuck in behind). While everyone in the peloton are ultimately competitors, they spend hours and hours together on the road and have developed a code of ethics and some very genuine friendships (and rivalries). I have to assume that most everyone is multi-lingual as the peloton represents roughly forty different countries and at least twelve different native tongues. This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that is available for purchase at my artist website. Just follow the direct link at the end of this post to get your artistic piece of the 100th Tour de France.
