With under one kilometer to go the fast moving peloton had to negotiate a right hand turn and then line up for the sprint. Lotto cam in hard on the inside with Cavendish following his last member of his lead out, Sagan tucked on his wheel and Kittle tucked in on Greipel's. Sagan got there without his train and Cavendish realized it was too early to go and went in search of Greipel's wheel. Cavendish ended up getting tied up in traffic and bumping a fading lead out man on Lotto enough that he went down in front of the charging peloton. Amazingly he wasn't seriously hurt and the rest of the 182 riders managed to remain upright. This is an original water color and ink postcard that can be yours by going to my artist website.
