Tour Stage Three: Climbers Go Down, Too

Pierre Rolland followed up a great Stage Two with a solid performance on the final climb of the day.  Just when it looked like Simon Clarke of Orica-GreenEdge was about to take over the lead in the King of the Mountain competition, Rolland came out of the peloton escorted by a teammate to earn the five points on offer, doubling his lead in his quest for the Polka Dot jersey in Paris.  With just 7 miles to go to the finish, Pierre stormed down the mountain in hopes of the first stage win for the French.  This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that is available at my artrist web site.  Just follow the direct link at the end of this post to get your piece of the 100th Tour de France.
