Tour de France 23, Stage 10: Looking Around

The Tour de France rides through beautiful landscapes daily, yet the peloton is often to stressed to get a chance to see anything other than the wheel millimeters ahead of them. (one reason it has been since the start of Covid that I have ridden in a pace line.)  It is nice to see Warren Barguil (Arkea-Samsic) take a moment to admire the view including the hear of cows just around the bend.  He and Esteban Chaves (EF Education-EasyPost) had slipped off the front of the small break away on the descent of the Col de la Croix Saint Robert.  Chaves is wearing the jersey of the Columbian national champion, quite an honor given the caliber of riders from his home country.  The pair had caught and dropped the previous pair of escapees and were off to dry their luck with 96 kilometers to race.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $95 USD including shipping, but yes international shipping is both available and extra.
