Fabio Aru (Astana) has gone on the attack every time the road went up. Until Montecampione, his attempts had come up empty, but not today. His efforts bore the fruit that had thus far been denied Astana, the most valued stage win. Astana's Vincenzo Nibali won last year's Giro and up until today, Astana hadn't even figure near the top of the leader boards of both the General Classification and the Stage Podium. Aru crossed the line pumping his fists and shouting his unbridled joy cheered on by the shouts of the thousands of cycling fans lining the final meters of the climb. This is an original watercolor and ink postcard that measures 4"x6" and sell through my artist website (www.greigleach.com) for only $50 USD. For this particular painting, follow the direct link at the end of this post to get your original painting of the Giro d'Italia.
