The short answer is yes. Natalie Geisenberger (Germany) is the first of the German mixed luge relay team to drp into the House of Speed luge run. Geisenberger is going for her seventh Olympic medal in Luge with the help of her teammates. She set a great time and both the single man and doubles men run were able to add to the advantage she handed them. Germany now has six gold medals in the Beijing Olympics, five of which have come from their Luge team.
