Lorena Wiebes (DSM) was able to flip the first intermediate sprint on Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) when it mattered most. With her being able to outsprint the former World Champion she will wear the first Maillot Jaune of the Tour de France Femmes. With this sprint and taking second in the first sprint, she will also be the owner of the Maillot Vert as well. The honor of wearing that jersey will go to Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx) who sits second in the green jersey competition. Vos is second on the general classification, and third in the sprint competition. With a near pancake flat stage tomorrow it will almost definitely come down to a sprint finish again tomorrow.
