Tour '22, Stage 11: Everything for Yellow

Clearly it had taken everything out of Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) to get away from the entire peloton.  After he and his teammates had attacked and attacked it finally worked.  He put over two minutes into the erstwhile Maillot Jaune of Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) plus a ten second time bonus for the stage win.  So tomorrow, for another one of the other hard days of the Tour, the question will be who can recover from today's efforts.  Whoever does may recover the Maillot Jaune, keep the Maillot Jaune, or become the next Maillot Jaune.  It will end with a climb up the fabled Alpe d'Huez.  Regardless, it will be another day of fireworks both literal and figurative.  It is Bastille Day after all.

This is a small 4x6 inch original watercolor painting that is available through my website at greigleach.com or you can simply follow the direct link at the end of the post to purchase the painting above. Since it is an original work of art, it is a first come first served reality. The painting was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.Richesonart.com. The work sells for $90 USD including shipping, and yes, international shipping is available.
